Loneliness is so rampant in the US that the Surgeon General dubbed it the “Loneliness epidemic” with half of all adults in the country reporting feeling lonely.  We know how bad loneliness is for our physical and mental health. Having social connections is one of the biggest predictors of wellbeing as we age and yet half of us are caught in a loneliness spiral made worse by our constant social media obsessions.

Making friends as an adult is HARD!

Gone are the days when classrooms and after-school activities made bonding as easy as just being present. Regular class schedules, team sports, and shared dorms naturally bring people together. Once you become a real adult though, the opportunities to create new friendships can feel few and far between

How TRYBE Works

Friend dating sucks.  That’s why Trybe was born: we do the work for you.  You select which type of Trybe you want to join (we have all types from walking groups to happy hours) our algorithm matches you with 7-10 other women that are in a similar life phase and you are assigned to an official Trybe.  Once you’ve been assigned to a Trybe, your meeting schedule will be set for the next 52 weeks.  You commit to showing up for at least 47 of the 52 meetings.
