What happens if I don’t feel like I can be friends with anyone at my first Trybe meeting and I immediately want to drop out?

If you attend your first Trybe meeting and you do not want to continue for any reason, we will match you with a new Trybe, no questions asked. You can exercise this right anytime up to one week after the initial Trybe meeting takes place.

What happens if I miss more than 5 meetings, but I still want to continue with my Trybe?

You will lose your deposit, but you are welcome to continue participating with your Trybe!

How do you know that I’ve attended an event?

Our app automatically checks you in when you arrive in the location of your weekly meet up.

What is the first meet up like? How will I know who I am meeting?

You will receive instructions on where/when to meet your Trybe at least one week before your first meet up. Your group administrator will be on hand for the beginning of your first Trybe meeting to make sure everyone finds each other!

Can I bring a friend to a Trybe meeting?

Of course! The more the merrier!

Why is the app only for women?

This is something we debated about for awhile, but ultimately decided that there is something sacred about spaces reserved solely for female friendships. Trybe is meant to be a way to foster deep, meaningful friendships and having it all female just felt like the right decision.
